Paul Wesley is a multi-award winner as an actor, producer and director. He's best known for his role as Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. Because of his part in the TV series he has earned several awards and nominations such as nominations for the Teen Choice Awards as well as the 'Young Movie Awards. Wesley was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and lived throughout the United States, showed interest in acting as a child during his primary school days. He then enrolled in Rutgers University. He dropped out after recognizing his acting talent. His first appearance in TV was with the popular American TV soap opera Another World. He was the lead character on Wolf Lake, a CBS television show just two years later. He reached the top of his career as he was cast in the role of Stefan Salvatore in the American TV series The Vampire Diaries. The series has seen him manage a few episodes. Following his appearance in the film The Last Run he has appeared in several popular movies. Recent roles include Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting actor. He is also well-known on social media. He has over 13 million Instagram followers, and 4.1 million Twitter followers.
